The Kiwanis Club of South Pasadena serves the youth of the community through hands on service projects as well as providing financial support to organizations that support local youth. Additionally, consistent with Kiwanis charter of “Serving the Children of the World” we provide financial support to eradicate curable disease such as neonatal tetanus. We feel that if even one child dies from a curable disease, it diminishes all of us.
Money from the club’s local fundraisers, such the annual Pancake Breakfast on the Fourth of July, is put back towards the community. South Pasadena’s Kiwanis Club specifically funds student scholarships and meals at the Ronald McDonald House in Pasadena, among other good deeds.
By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed and thrive, great things happen.
Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located.
Fellowship and fun:
Kiwanis members don’t just do service—they have fun. Members make new friends by being part of a club where they attend meetings and participate in social events
